Aquaventure Water Park
Aquaventure, Atlantis Paradise Island’s water park, is a one-of-a-kind 141-acre waterscape with complimentary admission for overnight guests at Atlantis. This non-stop aquatic thrill ride features over twenty million gallons of water, incredible Atlantean-themed towers, thrilling high-speed water slides, a mile-long river ride with rolling rapids and wave surges, 20 swimming areas, a spectacular kids water-play fort and 11 unique and refreshing swimming pools.
Gold Rock Beach
Gold Rock Beach is part of The Lucayan National Park and is protected by the Bahamas National Trust. The beach is located about 25 miles from Freeport and is secluded and spectacular. At low tide, the shoreline of the beach spans for yards into the sea, and it is referred to as Grand Bahama Island's "welcome mat." There are BBQ pits, picnic tables and benches here.
Thunderball Grotto
Many avid cave divers will tell you that there are several awe-inspiring locations for underwater cave diving in the Bahamas. However, one of the most famed and stunning sites to engage in this exhilarating sport is Thunderball Grotto or Thunderball Cave as it is sometimes called. It will bring you face to face to some of the worlds most awe inspiring and breathtaking species for a moment you will never forget.
